Sloths are primarily found in Central and South America. They are not native to Sumatra, Indonesia, or anywhere in Asia. Sumatra's diverse rainforest ecosystem is home to many unique species, such as orangutans, tigers, and Sumatran rhinoceros, but it does not provide a suitable habitat for sloths. Sloths are adapted to life in the rainforests of the Americas, where they can feed on leaves and hang from trees with their specialized claws.
